The Board of Directors of the Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association (PPNA) has accepted the resignation of PPNA Executive Director Becky Timm, effective August 10, 2015.
“It has been a great privilege for me to serve as PPNA’s executive director and to be a part of the Powderhorn Park neighborhood for the past four years,” Timm said.
“I have been amazed by the power of community,” said Timm. “I feel profoundly honored to have had the opportunity to work with so many dedicated community members to create the neighborhood we want.” Timm has accepted the executive director position with another Minneapolis-based nonprofit organization.
“We want to heartily thank Becky for her years of service. We also look forward to continuing PPNA’s long tradition of excellent leadership,” said PPNA Chair Rob Keefe. “The PPNA Board and staff will miss Becky and wish her success in her future endeavors.” PPNA has formed a transition team to guide the search for a new executive director to lead PPNA in its fourth decade.
The community is invited to PPNA’s Annual Summer Gathering for food, festivities and to say goodbye to Becky.
